Cross-Country Storm in the US: Where Will Rain And Cold Weather Unload?
Meanwhile, the latest forecasts reported a cross-country storm that could bring troublesome weather to parts of the Midwest and Eastern US. On Saturday, rounds of rain are expected in the following areas:
- Lubbock
- Odessa
- Dallas
- Austin
- San Antonio
- Corpus Christi
Motorists can likely experience travel difficulties this week due to the rainy outlook. Troublesome driving conditions could unload on Interstates 35, 70 and 80.
Everyone should maintain driving distance due to ice-covered roads, slick travel, slippery and foggy conditions.
In Kansas City, Texas and Oklahoma, people should stay alert for wintry conditions. Snowfall is forecast in Kansas this Saturday, with likely light snow accumulation. Rain and snow could unload near the I-70 corridor and the KC Metro.
On Sunday, travel disruption and colder conditions are expected in the following areas:

- Chicago
- Peoria
- Kansas City
- Omaha
- Green Bay
- Pittsburgh
- Columbus
- Indianapolis

In Los Angeles, the advisory showed that potential rain could unload On Wednesday or Sunday. The rainy outlook will be beneficial for drought-affected areas.
On Monday, the weather pattern will likely change. The rounds of rain are expected in New York, Halifax, Bangor, Moncton, Portland and Boston.

In Colorado, residents can notice snow conditions on the weekend. The snowy to freezing outlook can damage crops and plants. Homeowners should also check their heating system due to the cold conditions.
The NWS Weather Prediction Center advisory showed that a snowstorm could hit parts of the Plains. On the weekend, the blast of heavy snow is possible in the San Juan Mountains, New Mexico and Southwest Colorado.
Over the Plains and Rockies, temperatures could reach 10 to 20 degrees below normal on the weekend. People can also anticipate the wind chills. Extreme cold can likely affect the weather in the said areas, bringing slippery roads and reduced visibility.
