Wintry weather conditions are expected to continue in New England this week, according to the National Weather Service's (NWS) recent advisory.
Meanwhile, milder and dry conditions could grip parts of the Eastern US.
The first week of November recorded rainy conditions in the Pacific Northwest. The same weather pattern is forecast to continue this week in the region, including in Central and Northern California. Lower 48 in the US will expect a mild and warmer outlook.
While some parts of the US experienced warmer weather, the wintry and colder conditions would continue in parts of the US. November is expected to show cooler conditions in the country.
Wintry Weather to Unfold in New England
According to the recent advisories, NWS is monitoring an intensifying system affecting New England in the early week. Residents experienced warmer weather on the weekend.
However, the rainy conditions are predicted to return on Tuesday.
In New York City, the forecast showed that a mix of cloudy and sunny conditions could unfold in the region. Temperatures can likely reach highs in the lower 60s.
On Monday, there is a possibility of a rain shower in the early week.
In addition, a clipper system was developed over the Northern Rockies. It will help bring snow and rain to the Northern Plains in the early week. Great Lakes can also expect more rain on Tuesday.
In the Northeast, residents should also watch out for precipitation this week due to a fast-moving over Canada. People with travel plans in November are advised to check the weather forecasts.
Eastern US: Where Will Warm Outlook Unload?
According to the latest forecast, warmer conditions are expected in the Eastern US early week. The dry conditions were recorded in New Orleans, Tampa, Nashville, Little Rock and Jackson.
On Monday, rains are likely in portions of Ottawa, Buffalo, Detroit, Sudbury, Chicago and Green Bay. Meanwhile, the mild outlook could unfold in the following areas:
- St. Louis
- Charleston
- Pittsburgh
- New York
In Boston City, residents recently experienced dry and warm conditions. Over Southern New England, the temperatures are expected to become milder, with a chilly outlook at night.
On Wednesday, the mild weather will continue in Raleigh, Atlanta and Shreveport.
