On the weekend, the weather outlook showed that thunderstorms with chances of rain could hit Reno, Elko, Salt Lake City and Grand Junction.
Next week, the forecast said that a hotter outlook could emerge in Portland, Seattle, Redding, Sacramento and Vancouver.
Furthermore, the NWS forecast said the dangerous heat could extend to Washington, Columbia Basic, western Orgegon and Southwest.
The advisory added that heat risk would be possible in Salem, Eugene, and Willamette Valley.
In the Southern US, the NWS advisory explained that a combination of heat and humidity could become more troublesome, unleashing extreme hea.
In the eastern and central U.S., the recent weather forecast said that severe thunderstorms are expected this weekend, bringing flooding downpours and isolated tornadoes.
