The latest weather forecast warned that severe weather is expected to unfold in portions of the South, Midwest and Northeast this week.

Residents and motorists in the affected areas should stay alert with weather forecasts and announcements as the winter storm would become extremely dangerous and challenging for motorists.

The final week of January 2023 is forecast to receive more snow and possible tornadoes in portions of the United States.

According to the latest weather forecast, Fox Weather News explained that the winter storm in the Midwest and Northeast would bring dangerous travel.

Fox Weather News added that winter storm warnings are present in Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

The weather forecast said heavy snow would unload in Pennsylvania and West Virginia portions.

Furthermore, the weather forecast said that they could be a chance of snow in New York City. However, the forecast said it would not make measurable snowfall.

Previous reports said that NYC has suffered from a snow drought, with the only trace of snow recorded.

Meanwhile, CNN News reported that severe weather conditions with tornado outbreaks emerged in Texas, Alabama and Louisiana, resulting in significant power outages.

Last year, tornadoes also rampaged in Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi, significantly damaging communities.

CNN added that a tornado watch has been in effect in the eastern Florida Panhandle and southeastern Alabama, raising concerns about tornado outbreaks.

Meanwhile, PowerOutage.us reported that about 42,000 had no electricity in Texas (Wednesday).

On the other hand, the National Weather Service (NWS) said that heavy snow is expected in South Plains and Ohio Valley.
