Snowstorm to bring heavy snow
According to AccuWeather's latest forecast this January 24, the report said that heavy snow is expected to unload due to the snowstorm.
From Sunday to early Monday, AccuWeather reported that the snowstorm in the Northeast brought road crashes and power outages in New York, Maine and Massachusetts.

The report said that authorities responded to road crashes (Monday). According to the New Hampshire State Police, there were about 90 recorded road crashes due to the storm.
- In Maine, the Maine State Police said that about 29 reported road accidents were due to the weather.
- Meanwhile, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) reported that snow removal was deployed to help with snow clearing.
According to AccuWeather and PowerOutage.US, the freezing conditions and blowing of snow caused power outages:
- New Hampshire recorded 50,000 power outages.
- Massachusetts recorded 16,000 power outages
- Maine also recorded about 27,000 customers without power.
Meanwhile, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported that widespread heavy snow is forecast to unload in Western Alaska this week.
This week, another round of snowstorms will bring heavier snow to the Northeast.
Colder temperatures are expected to unfold, which could result in health concerns for many residents.
On Tuesday, the weather forecast said snowfall would unload in Indianapolis, Detroit, Pittsburg, Binghamton and Bangor from Tuesday night to Thursday night.
In AccuWeather's forecast, wintry showers are forecast to unload.
- Rain with possible thunderstorms would occur in Washington D.C and Boston on Wednesday.
- Detroit and Montreal would receive snow on Wednesday.
The colder air and snow would persist until this week. Snow is expected to unload in Burlington.
There is also a chance of snow in New York and Boston.
- On the same day, the weather reported that snow showers are forecast in Charleston, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Pittsburg, Buffalo and Detroit.
- Rain would occur in Portland.

There is a high chance of road crashes this week due to the snow conditions.

- The weather in the South-Central U.S. would be challenging, especially with threats of nocturnal tornadoes.
- Meanwhile, the weather conditions in the Southwest would bring heavy snow in High Plains.
