As many Americans began to decorate their homes with Halloween themes, the latest weather forecast showed that this coming weekend would be dry but would rebound to wetter conditions starting Monday.
A few days before October's End, previous forecasts said that the weather for the first week of November would be mild to rainy. However, the rain that would emerge in the first week would not be intense or heavy. The report advised Halloween goers to prepare umbrellas, raincoats, or waterproof Halloween attire so they won't get disturbed by rain.
Dry conditions would be expected in many portions of the United States as they prepare for Halloween. According to AccuWeather's latest forecast, a quiet pattern with dry weather is expected from Friday to Saturday in Monreal, Bangor, Boston, New York, Washington D.C, Pittsburg, Cincinnati, Detroit, Toronto, and Syracuse. The latest report from the NOAA NWS National Hurricane Center said that a broad low pressure in the southeastern Caribbean caused disorganized showers and thunderstorms, affecting the Windward Islands west-northwestward.
The National Hurricane Center noted that the low-pressure area in the southeastern Caribbean could become a tropical depression or tropical storm this weekend or early next week due to current conducive environmental conditions.
The disturbance was also seen to move slowly westward on the central Caribbean Sea. The advisory noted that heavy rains with gust winds could occur in the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Lesser Antilles.
Moreover, the National Hurricane Center said they found a large area of cloudiness with showers. It extends from Bermuda and over the western Atlantic. However, the advisory said it had only a slow chance of occurring due to unfavorable conditions.
