Halloween is almost here. Aside from pumpkin pies, everyone is probably looking forward to seeing children walking down the street, wearing their cutest or scariest costumes and going from one house to another while asking for treats.
In some instances, there are some parents who join their children in "trick-or-treat-ing" their neighbors in what can only be the most fun family bonding for the season.
Unfortunately, at this time, most forget to think about their pets or even consider dressing them up. For those who forget, this is a soft reminder that they are already a part of the family, and leaving them behind to be scared witless is just... sad.
So in case you have not thought about it yet, below are some costume ideas for your beloved fur babies.
1. Go with the basic
It is a general rule that nothing could ever go wrong with the most basic stuff. You can make a costume based on evil folklores that scare you as a child, just like this vampire cat below.
2. Cosplay your favorite movie characters
If basic stuff bores you, then why not consider craft costumes inspired from the movie characters that you cannot forget.
Special mention goes to these cute dogs that are dressed up like minions from Despicable Me. They are cute, are they not?
3. Make them mightier
Folklore might not scare you, but you will surely run away if you see a lion roaming freely around your neighborhood.
Dress your cat as if they are lions or dogs like they are wolves. It might not be scary, but at least it is cute, and that's all that matters.
4. Or just go bust some ghost
A Ghostbuster-themed costume for the whole family is not a bad idea, because with all those monsters roaming around, why not?
5. Winter-themed
If nothing really works, then just foreshadow the upcoming event that is probably the most popular holiday globally: Christmas. Your fur baby can dress up like Santa Claus or give them a reindeer horn for a minimal effort.
