There are events in history that are eternally etched in history books. But most of these are tainted with conspiracy theories that question the authenticity of the act including NASA's Mars rover and its landing on the red planet.
"Could NASA Successfully Fake The Rover On Mars?" this is the question raised by an alien hunter who thinks that it is entirely possible for the agency to fake its Mars photos and videos by filming in a remote area on Earth. Is he telling the truth? Or is it another one of those conspiracy theories that have no valid proof?
Famous UFO and alien hunter Scott Waring said that he noticed some signs that a few images supposedly taken by NASA's Mars rover have evident Earth-based creatures such as bear, monkey, seals and even crabs. He claims that there is a growing rumor that says NASA did not even send a rover to the red planet and the images and footages being released were filmed in Canada, according to a report.
This area called Devon Island in Canada is an isolated and uninhabited place that could pass for Mars due to its surface. According to Waring, many of his readers already pointed out that the Mars rover landing is fake.
"Many readers have suggested that the Mars Curiosity rover is not in space on Mars, but actually on Devon Island in Southern Canada" UFO hunter Scott Waring said in his blog. The alleged evidence he collected can prove that NASA's Mars rover is not on Mars and that the Mars rover landing was fake.
He claims that the photos were manipulated where red filters were used to come up with a different hue. Another thing that he pointed out is the failure of other countries to successfully land a rover on Mars. For Waring, this could also be a proof that the Mars rover isn't on the red planet.
Another "Truther", as the group called themselves, also claims that NASA has a base in Devon and that the rover might just be hidden there. "It is very possible that by now, both rovers are stored in a hangar, somewhere at NASA's headquarters, said Harold Saive in a statement.
But what's surprising is that this time, even Waring himself doubts his theory. He admitted on his blog post that there are a lot of elements on Mars rover photos that couldn't be possibly found on the planet. This statement alone contradicts the belief of many that the Mars rover landing is fake.
The question now is, why are people still doubting the authenticity of the Mars rover landing when it had proven to be a vital scientific instrument that aids the agency in learning more about the red planet?
