Built in year 2000, Sunway Lagoon made a record of being the biggest wave pool that year, at 140,000 square feet of water. With waves up to nine feet tall, Sunway specialized on the intricates all around its walls as they understand how Asians value arts.
Himlabadet, Sundsvall Sweden
Home of the Hangloose SurfStream Open, an indoor surf competition, Himlabadet is the very first wave pool in Europe to have a Surfstream wave. Established in 2010, Himalabadet has made quite a noise that professional surfers like Cheyne Magnusson did not want to miss the opportunity to surf on its two to fiur feet tall wave, according to The Active Times.
Man has truly been given such a great wisdom and skill to not just surf in makeshift waves duplicating what nature has to offer but to even bring it to the next level that people can truly enjoy surfing even without the ocean.
