Widespread Damaging Winds, Flooding Rain to Hit Eastern US, New York State to Georgia, Forecast Warns

The latest weather report in the Eastern U.S. warned of challenging winds, heavy thunderstorms and isolated tornadoes, which are likely this week.

Everyone with travel plans should check the weather outlook in their area before going out. Strong winds and rain conditions could affect road conditions, including flooding concerns.

In the Midwest, Nature World News (NWN) reported that a severe weather threat is also possible this week as some parts of the country experienced a deadly heat outlook.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the widespread threat of thunderstorms is expected in the Eastern U.S. this week.

The advisory added that there are possible rain conditions and damaging winds from Philadephia to Atlanta. The latest forecast noted that travel concerns could be possible in Interstates 40, 64, 70, 75, 80 and 81.

Meanwhile, AccuWeather's latest forecast warned of severe weather conditions in parts of the county.

On Monday, August 7, the weather outlook showed that rain and thunderstorms are possible in Burlington, Detroit, Columbus, Charleston, Pittsburgh, New York, Boston and Portland.

Furthermore, Americans should also watch out for possible severe thunderstorms with isolated tornadoes.

The severe weather outlook is possible in Washington, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Scranton and Chattanooga.

On Tuesday, the AccuWeather forecast showed that the threat of thunderstorms would continue in Portland, Boston and Albany.

Meanwhile, the forecast explained that the risk of severe outlook could also unload in parts of West Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Alabama and Huntsville.

Furthermore, the NWS advisory warned of flash flooding risk due to severe weather conditions.

The NWS New York reported that a stormy outlook could result in excessive rainfall in the region, especially in the west Hudson areas.

The advisory added that the thunderstorms in the city could be noticeable at night.

Dangerous heat conditions in the Southern US

While Midwest and Eastern U.S. would experience wet conditions with thunderstorms, Southern US could face the challenging heat in the region.

According to the NWS Weather Prediction Center, dangerous heat is expected to unleash the upper 90s and 100s. The advisory noted excessive heat warnings and advisories in the affected areas.

The forecast added that an expansive heat outlook is expected in portions of the Southern Plains, Lower Mississippi and Desert Southwest.

The weather report emphasized relief from hot temperatures in Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Furthermore, homeowners should limit outdoor activities to prevent exposure to troublesome heat conditions, especially for children and older adults.
